The Lead Community-Based Facilitator (Lead CBF) holds a critical position in coordinating and supervising the Community-Based Facilitators (CBFs) and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs). Reporting to the Food Security & Livelihood Officer, the Lead CBF oversees the implementation of program activities, ensuring effective delivery and impact.
Work Plan Preparation: Develop and submit monthly work plans to the FSL Officer, outlining program activities and objectives.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to CBFs and VSLAs, promoting best practices in VSLA management and agricultural techniques.
Supervision: Oversee the activities of CBFs and VSLAs, ensuring adherence to program goals and quality standards.
Training Needs Assessment: Conduct training needs assessments for CBFs and VSLAs, identifying areas for capacity development.
In-House Training: Organize in-house training sessions for CBFs, addressing capacity gaps and enhancing their facilitation skills.
Performance Review Meetings: Conduct monthly performance review meetings with CBFs, providing feedback and support for improvement

Data Collection and Verification: Assist CBFs in data collection and success story documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports to the FSL Officer, highlighting achievements and challenges.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Actively participate in monitoring and evaluation activities, contributing to program assessment and learning.
Perform Assigned Duties: Undertake any other assigned duties related to program management and support.
Bachelor's degree/diploma/certificate in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Agriculture, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in community development, microfinance, or relevant field.
Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with experience in managing teams.
Strong knowledge of VSLA principles, group dynamics, and financial management.
Ability to provide technical support and capacity building to community-based facilitators.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in data collection, report writing, and use of Microsoft Office tools.
Commitment to community empowerment, inclusivity, and development.
Fluency in local languages spoken in the area is an advantage.
Experience working in a refugee settlement setting will be of an added advantage
