How to Apply
Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC): Perform QA/QC procedures, including internal QC and proficiency testing (PT), for all test methods as outlined in the laboratory’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Safety Compliance: Review and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to internationally recognized laboratory safety standards.
Specimen Management: Conduct specimen collection, documentation, accessioning, and examination in accordance with ISO 15189 standards.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment according to the service schedule, and regularly monitor equipment and environmental conditions to ensure optimal functionality.
Inventory Management: Forecast the need for laboratory reagents and supplies for various sections, and request the necessary inventory from the laboratory store.
Result Reporting: Review, report, and release laboratory results accurately and in a timely manner.

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience.
Certification: Valid Allied Health Extract or APL.
Advantageous Knowledge: Training or knowledge of Quality Management System
(QMS) standards, such as ISO 15189, is an added advantage.
