Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Kindergarten Teacher based in Takoradi. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering lesson plans, fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment, and promoting the intellectual and emotional growth of children. Additional tasks include conducting student assessments, managing classroom behavior, and engaging with parents and school staff to support student development and well-being.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational lessons and activities
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning
Monitor and evaluate students’ academic and social development
Maintain classroom discipline and encourage respectful behavior
Collaborate with parents, guardians, and staff to support children's development
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of individual learners
Prepare learning materials and organize resources
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Relevant teaching certification or a degree in Education (preferred)
Experience in early childhood teaching or a similar role

Creativity, patience, and adaptability
Ability to design and implement interactive learning activities
Familiarity with early childhood development principles and practices
