Job Description
The Kindergarten Teacher will support early childhood development by delivering age-appropriate learning experiences that promote cognitive, emotional, physical, and social growth among young learners.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Childhood Development (ECD) curriculum
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s emotional, social, and behavioral development
- Observe, assess, and document learners’ progress
- Use play-based and activity-based teaching methods
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding learner progress
- Maintain classroom discipline, cleanliness, and safety
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development sessions
