Job Description
The role involves continuous monitoring of IT services including applications, middleware, networks, and system infrastructure to ensure high performance and uptime. The IT Officer will manage incident reporting, provide prompt technical support, and escalate unresolved issues. They will perform root-cause analysis on failures, support the implementation of new systems, and ensure integration with monitoring tools. They will also be responsible for maintaining service reports and collaborating with technical teams to enhance system performance and security in compliance with financial regulations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor IT services such as applications, middleware, infrastructure, and network systems
Log, triage, and resolve incidents or escalate complex technical issues
Conduct root-cause analysis of IT system failures and identify risk mitigation strategies
Support seamless integration of new IT systems and monitoring solutions
Maintain and update service availability reports for internal use
Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to improve system performance
Implement IT security best practices to protect company and client data

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Maximum age: 27 years
B.Sc. (Minimum Second Class Lower) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
1–2 years of experience in IT support, system monitoring, or database management
Proficiency in IT monitoring tools
Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, WAN/LAN, firewalls, and IT security
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and troubleshooting
