Hydrologist Job at ICS

Job Description
Additionally, we are looking for a competent and motivated Hydrologist (3-5 years experience) to support water resources planning, hydrological analysis, environmental assessments, project design, data analysis, technical reporting, and stakeholder coordination in compliance with applicable technical standards and regulatory requirements.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic assessments for water resources and infrastructure projects.
- Perform rainfall-runoff modelling, flood analysis, and watershed evaluations.
- Support water balance studies and catchment analysis.
- Contribute to environmental and social impact assessments (ESIAs).
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and presentations.
- Utilize hydrological and hydraulic modelling tools for project analysis and simulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on project planning and implementation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with standards and approvals.
