Job Description
The ICT Assistant – Network Administration reports to the Head of ICT and is responsible for assessing information risk and facilitating remediation of identified vulnerabilities for IT security and IT risks across Kenya Tea Packers.
The role involves coordinating ICT system support in liaison with the Database Administrator for Business Intelligence and Reporting to ensure secure network connectivity and system integrity.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Establishes optimal network performance by evaluating connectivity KPIs – availability, utilization, throughput and latency. Planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of ICT equipment's.
- Monitor and manage all communications and resolve networking problems through effective implementation of preventive measures for IT Network, systems and software applications.
- Report findings and recommendations of identified vulnerabilities to the Head of ICT for corrective action.
- Perform vulnerabilities assessment using IT
