Founded in 1950, Doctors with Africa CUAMM is an Italian organization engaged in the health sector in Sub-Saharan Africa and it operates in 8 countries (Angola, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia and Mozambique), where it delivers health programmes and expertise to help bring health services closer to the neediest and suffering.
In partnership with Christian Blind Mission, CUAMM in Uganda is starting a new project in West Nile named: Inclusive emergency initiative to strengthen health services and hygiene practices in refugee and host communities in West Nile, Uganda.
The project, which is funded by the Italian Government has the following results areas; R1: Access to integrated health services and basic health practices have improved among refugees and host communities in Terego district; R2: Hygiene practices of refugees and host communities in Terego district are strengthened, with special attention to women and people with disabilities; R3: Referral services for the most vulnerable groups are strengthened and actors present have the capacity to implement inclusive humanitarian intervention.

Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the HR. Department in delivering its key roles of manpower planning.
recruiting the best talent,
cultivating a culture that promotes effective performance,
retain and motivate employees,
assess contributions and reward good performance,
plan growth, manage exits and develop healthy employee relations.
S/he will be part of the senior management at the Country Office and will report to the Country Representative.
Qualifications and Competencies
University Degree in relevant field; Masters Degree in Human Resource Management;
at least five years' experience in the HR function in a reputable organization;
excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
self- driven, proven leadership qualities and a team player.
