The Authority ensures compliance by insurance and reinsurance companies, protects consumers, and promotes a high degree of security for policyholders.

Job Description
The role involves executing HR strategies aligned with the Authority's objectives, overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, managing performance appraisal systems, facilitating training and development programs, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies. The officer will also handle employee welfare matters, maintain HR records, and contribute to organizational development initiatives.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Implement HR policies and procedures in line with the Authority's strategic goals.
Coordinate recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
Manage performance management systems and appraisal processes.
Facilitate employee training and development programs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
Handle employee relations and welfare matters.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases.
Support organizational development and change management initiatives.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in human resource management.
Competencies and Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Additional Requirements:
Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
