Job Description
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Officer will be responsible for supporting HR operations including staffing, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The role entails balancing manpower levels, handling HR queries, supporting recruitment processes, maintaining up-to-date employee records, and ensuring timely reporting and data management in the HRMIS. The HR Officer will also support employee engagement, coordinate training and orientation programs, facilitate payroll data accuracy, and manage staff licensing and disciplinary processes.
The HR Officer plays a critical role in ensuring HR functions align with the organization’s strategic goals and helps create a positive and compliant work environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Balance manpower levels across units in consultation with the Senior HR Business Partner.
Serve as the first contact for HR-related staff queries.
Participate in recruitment panels and document candidate evaluations.
Maintain contracts and licenses for all medical staff, including locums.
Assist in compiling HR reports and updating records in the HRMIS system.
Support leave management, policy guidance, and disciplinary processes.
Guide staff in understanding job descriptions and performance criteria.
Ensure payroll data accuracy and timely submission.
Monitor confirmation dates and organize employee training and inductions.
Manage issuance and return of uniforms and name tags.
Coordinate and track staff licenses and standardize rota submissions.
Register staff and dependents in HRMIS/MED360 systems.
Support employee engagement and conduct exit interviews.
Contribute to achieving quality and audit compliance scores.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a business-related field.
HR certification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
Excellent organizational awareness and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate reliability.
