Job Description
The HR Talent Management Officer will be responsible for identifying, engaging, developing, and retaining top talent within the company. The role involves leading talent management projects, collaborating with HR teams and other departments, designing development and succession plans, and evaluating program effectiveness. This position requires strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive organizational performance through talent optimization.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage various talent management projects within the organization.
Collaborate with HR business partners and key stakeholders to implement talent development initiatives.
Act as a subject matter expert on talent programs and provide necessary guidance and support.
Identify and assess current and future talent needs across departments.
Develop career development plans and succession strategies for critical roles.
Review workforce planning data to inform talent strategy.
Design talent assessment tools and processes to identify high-potential individuals.
Evaluate the impact and success of implemented talent programs.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Administration, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
Relevant HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) are an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in talent management or related HR roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective people management and project coordination abilities.
Skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, and performance development.
High levels of integrity, discretion, empathy, and openness.
Proficiency in presentation and strategic planning.
