Job Description
The successful candidate will oversee and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent to Dangote Sugar Refinery in Numan. This includes preparing job requisitions, posting vacancies, sourcing candidates through various channels, and managing the full hiring cycle from interviews to onboarding. The HR Recruitment Officer will also coordinate with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure seamless and efficient talent acquisition that aligns with organizational goals.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage recruitment processes including job requisitions, approvals, and tracking of hiring budgets.
Advertise job vacancies on internal and external platforms (career page, social media, job boards).
Source and identify candidates through online platforms and referrals.
Screen CVs and application forms to identify top talent.
Conduct interviews (phone, video, or in-person) and prepare selection memos for approval.
Draft and issue offer letters to selected candidates.
Maintain and update recruitment records and databases accurately.
Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees and plan quarterly onboarding events.
Liaise with recruitment agencies and employees for referrals when necessary.
Ensure all recruitment documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
Handle all administrative tasks throughout the candidate lifecycle.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
BSc or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.
Professional certification in HR is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment or HR roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good project and people management skills.
Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
High level of integrity, empathy, discretion, and openness.
