Job Description
The Headteacher will provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the school in accordance with Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) policies and the school’s vision and goals. The role focuses on academic excellence, staff development, student welfare, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the school in line with national education policies and institutional goals.
- Ensure high academic standards, effective teaching, and continuous improvement in student performance.
- Supervise and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff, promote professional development and accountability.
- Oversee school operations, including discipline, student welfare, and staff performance management.
- Manage school finances, resources, and infrastructure to ensure efficient and transparent utilization.
- Strengthen partnerships with parents, the Board, MoES, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) regulations, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Lead school marketing, enrolment growth, and reputation building.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment.
