Job Description

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide protection and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence. It is an independent and neutral organization whose mandate stems from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. The ICRC is seeking a skilled and creative Graphic Designer to join the Global Content Hub in Nairobi.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the production of publications, promotional materials, and printed assets for communication work in the field
  • Design and layout print publications, reports, and presentations
  • Design and adapt digital content including web graphics, social media visuals, email templates, and digital banners
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the quality, coherence, and impact of communication materials
  • Provide technical guidance to field delegations on visual identity compliance
  • Ensure all materials adhere to ICRC's corporate visual identity standards
  • Support adaptation of materials across multiple languages and formats
