About the Program
Bujagali Energy Ltd, the owner and operator of the 250MW hydropower plant on the Nile River in Jinja, invites applications for its Graduate Training Program 2025. This 3-year, plant-based training program is designed to equip fresh graduates with hands-on experience, professional growth, and foundational technical and leadership skills.
Program Objective
The program provides a unique opportunity to:
Rotate across different departments for broad-based exposure.
Gain practical experience through mentorship and on-the-job training.
Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering and business challenges.
Develop essential skills such as troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and process optimization.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Procurement or Supply Chain Management
Must have graduated in 2023 or later.
Demonstrated interest in energy, infrastructure, or industrial operations is a plus.
