Job Title: Business Development Officer (Fresher Jobs)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
Develop and manage business growth to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and maximize customer satisfaction.
Market Development: Identify new markets and business opportunities, create new sales channels, and arrange meetings with prospective clients.
Sales & Client Management: Prepare proposals and presentations, promote products and services, and provide after-sales support.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and the community.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations to improve product performance.
Planning & Forecasting: Create development plans and forecast sales targets and growth projections.
Compliance: Ensure all business acquisition strategies comply with legal and statutory requirements.
Key Deliverables:
Financial Performance: Meet or exceed revenue and sales targets.
Market Expansion: Acquire new business by identifying new markets and creating new business channels.
Relationship Building: Cultivate high-value relationships with clients and stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education: Bachelor’s degree. A diploma in insurance is an added advantage.
Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in insurance, fintech, or FMCG.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, insurance CRMs, and data analysis tools.
Good understanding of insurance terminology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
Willingness to work as part of a team.
