Job Description
An excellent opportunity exists for a Graduate Intern – Data Clerk to join The Aga Khan University, Kampala, Uganda.
Position Summary: Reporting to the Registrar, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in supporting the 2026 student enrolment drive. The intern will act as a key liaison for prospective students, ensuring a seamless application process, supporting digital marketing initiatives, and maintaining high standards of data accuracy and customer service.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Guide applicants through the account creation process, assisting with scanning and uploading necessary documentation to the system.
- Proactively follow up on applicants who have initiated the process but have not yet submitted their applications to reduce drop-off rates.
- Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to prospective parents and applicants globally.
- Maintain effective communication channels with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Provide timely, culturally sensitive feedback to applicants regarding their status.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies specifically targeting international students.
- Participate in physical outreach activities, including visits to schools and hospitals across Uganda.
- Assist in the logistics and smooth flow of interviews for shortlisted applicants.
