Position: Front Desk Officer

Job Description

Donswift Company is currently seeking a professional and customer-oriented Front Desk Officer to join our team in Entebbe. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Handle room reservations and respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.

  • Manage the hotel’s social media platforms by posting engaging content, promoting offers, and responding to guest messages.

  • Maintain up-to-date guest records, process payments, and generate daily front desk reports.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest requests and special needs are met efficiently.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a front desk or customer service role.

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
