Job Description
Job Title: Forensics and Investigations Supervisor

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: The Forensics and Investigations Supervisor will develop and execute daily operational strategies for the Forensics & Investigations team to ensure efficient service delivery and turnaround time (TAT). The successful candidate will be responsible to conduct objective fraud appraisals and investigations for all suspected fraud incidents including referrals from internal units, departments and external stakeholders, identify fraud vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate future risks. They will lead the Investigations team in compliance with the industry’s best practices and lawful fraud examination techniques and ensure timely and well-articulated reporting with clear presentation of findings.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Lead Investigations: Plan, coordinate, and conduct investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, policy breaches, and financial irregularities across all branches.
Case Management: Receive, log, assess, and prioritize reported cases; ensure proper documentation, evidence gathering, and timely resolution.
Fraud Detection & Prevention: Identify emerging fraud risks, analyze trends, and recommend proactive measures to strengthen internal controls.
Evidence Collection & Analysis: Gather and examine evidence, conduct interviews, and prepare factual investigation reports for management and legal purposes.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and established fraud-risk management procedures.
Team Supervision: Supervise field investigators and support staff; assign cases, review investigation outputs, and build team capacity through training and mentoring.
