Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect fish samples from hatchery, nursery, and grow-out stages according to established protocols
- Conduct health assessments including external and internal examinations and analyze fish health indicators
- Support testing and tracking of sex ratios and report findings accurately
- Support implementation of fish health and prophylactic trials including data collection, sampling, and protocol adherence
- Assess and report biosecurity risks and non-compliance observed across farm operations
- Record and enter data accurately into approved systems and maintain organized, traceable records
- Prepare routine summaries and reports for review by the R&D Manager
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the laboratory
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples and materials
