The Fund is seeking a Financial Accountant who will be responsible for accounting for the Fund’s transactions and availing strategic advice to drive performance.

Review and record accounting transactions in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Advise on the accounting treatment of complex transactions in accordance with IFRS.
Prepare reports on the Fund’s performance.
Avail strategic ideas for process and technological improvements
Serve department stakeholders and customers with timely services.
Ascertain inter-department synergies to support key projects.
Support the external audit exercise and preparation of annual financial statements and integrated report.
Recommend key automation to improve efficiencies in the department.
Undertake business process re-engineering and improve productivity.

A bachelor’s degree in a business or numerical course
Completion of an accounting professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is a must.
Work Experience:
3 years’ experience in an accounting practice
Experience in tax and cost accounting practices will be an added advantage.
