Job Description
The Filing Clerk plays a crucial role in document management by organizing incoming paperwork, managing the physical and electronic filing systems, and supporting audit and reporting processes. The position includes retrieving files, archiving outdated documents, and assisting with digitization and indexing. The Clerk also trains team members on best practices for file handling and ensures compliance with security and confidentiality protocols.

How to Apply
Sort, label, and file all incoming documents, reports, and correspondence accurately.
Maintain up-to-date filing systems (both physical and digital) for efficient document retrieval.
Ensure proper storage and confidentiality of all files in compliance with internal policies.
Assist staff in locating and accessing documents as needed.
Archive older records per document retention guidelines.
Support audits and inspections by preparing required files.
Regularly audit filing systems to verify accuracy and identify gaps.
Scan and index documents to support digitization efforts.
Report any missing or disorganized documents to supervisors.
Train staff on filing protocols and best practices.
Minimum of a high school diploma; additional training in administration or records management is an asset.
Previous experience in filing, clerical work, or records management is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Basic computer skills, including use of email and file management software.
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
