Job Description
Reporting to the Team Leader – Field Operations (secondary reporting to the Regional Technical Manager), the role resolves trouble tickets in line with corrective maintenance KPIs, conducts preventive routines and health checks, coordinates with Support and NMC teams on incident analysis and timely restoration, and documents clears. The engineer proposes network improvement actions, executes and reports on preventive programs, commissions new sites/links with vendors per engineering standards and factory specifications, and compiles daily maintenance reports. The role also performs root-cause analysis (RCA) on outages and provides evidence-based justifications.

How to Apply
Attend to faults via the TT system and restore services within KPI targets.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and environment health checks.
Coordinate with Support and NMC during incident analysis; confirm and communicate clears.
Propose and follow through on network structure improvement actions.
Execute preventive maintenance programs and submit accurate reports.
Jointly conduct commissioning tests with vendors; accept only sites/links that meet standards/specs.
Compile and present daily maintenance reports; participate in evaluation meetings.
Conduct RCA for link failures and complete outage documentation with evidence.
Academic & Professional
Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications (or related field).
Lean Six Sigma – Yellow Belt.
CCNA certification.
Valid driving license.
Experience
Minimum 2 years in transmission network maintenance.
Technical & Core Competencies
Network Management Systems (NMS).
Radio rigging; strong knowledge of GSM 2G/3G/4G architecture.
Solid understanding of BSS/transmission technologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting/documentation.
Customer focus; planning & organizing; strong troubleshooting skills.
