PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: .
The Fellow will be in charge of a specific Iteme site and manage the academic, administrative and logistical aspects. The Fellow will supervise Iteme interns, assess the curriculum & classes, control logistics, implement innovative ways to support Iteme students, liaise with partners, and other related duties on-site. The Fellow will work closely with the Kepler Humanitarian Team. The Fellows positions at Kepler are designed as an opportunity for recent or upcoming graduates to grow professionally by gaining meaningful work experience while supporting Kepler programming. Fellows will be provided with significant support from their managers and other team members as well as opportunities for professional development. After the fellowship year is complete, Fellows should be confident professionals with competitive skills and resumes to continue their careers, whether at Kepler or an external organization

  • Build and strengthen our partnerships with on-site organizations/programs

  • Assess the curriculum, ensuring all class materials are available and easily accessible to both students and interns

  • Observe classes to ensure students are getting needed support with tablets/class resources

  • Provide feedback and coaching to interns, including co-teaching

  • Implement the evaluation method and provide feedback to improve the program

  • Innovate new ways of supporting Iteme students, including engaging relevant community members

  • Conduct field research to identify opportunities available for refugees and marginalized youth (students with disabilities included)

  • Prepare and oversee Iteme admissions at assigned site

  • Produce accurate and timely reports

  • Organize data effectively

  • Coordinate and run workshops/events (internal and external)

  • Manage tablets and other resources

  • Take full responsibility and ownership of the program at your site

  • Run the program remotely if needed: Provide adequate support to both interns and students, make sure that resources are easily accessible to students, and conduct frequent check-ins with interns

  • Collect and report accurate finance documents on time

  • Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor

  • Have met all graduation requirements

  • Ability to communicate in fluent in English

  • Ability to effectively lead a team

  • Experience with operational activities

  • Have worked as an Iteme/ remediation program intern or Kepler TA

  • Demonstrated professionalism and good working ethics

  • Ability to work under pressure and tackle challenges without any supervision

  • Organized, Extreme attention to detail, and good at time and task management

  • Excellent with using Google Products (creating and uploading files and folders, sharing files folders, google forms, etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and highly adaptable technology skills

  • Comfortable living and working in a rural area

  • Experience in working with refugees and host community.
