Position Overview
Damba Kezaala Enterprises Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Farm Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our agricultural activities in Kampala. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on maximizing productivity, ensuring sustainable practices, and leading a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment that values adaptability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Monitor and document data on crop growth, production, and environmental conditions.
Oversee nursery operations for the cultivation of horticultural plants for commercial sale.
Allocate resources efficiently and manage unexpected challenges such as pests or droughts.
Set and manage plant growth schedules and environmental conditions.
Maintain accurate farm records including financial, production, and personnel data.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Diploma or equivalent post-secondary qualification in Agriculture or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1–2 years in a similar agricultural management role.
Skills:
Strong abilities in active listening, communication, coordination, time management, and reading comprehension.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Language:
Fluency in English is required.
