Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase market share and achieve financial growth targets in the hazardous waste and water treatment sector.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with potential clients and partners.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy adjustments.
Collaborate with internal teams to design and propose customized solutions that meet client requirements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, presenting the value and benefits of partnering with Aldelia’s expert services.
Manage customer accounts and ensure exceptional service delivery, maintaining long-term and profitable relationships.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in business development within the hazardous waste and/or water treatment industries.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements in Uganda and the wider region.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results in a competitive environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
