How to Apply
Executive Support:
Manage the COO’s schedule, calendar, and appointments, ensuring seamless time management.
Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, presentations, and minutes.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Administrative Excellence:
Act as the first point of contact for the COO, managing communications (emails, calls, and correspondence) with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare reports, proposals, and other documents as required.
Oversee the COO’s travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
Project Management:
Assist in tracking and monitoring key projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress on strategic initiatives.
Operational Efficiency:
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and streamline the COO’s workload.
Maintain and organize files, records, and databases to ensure easy access to important information.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the COO.
Represent the COO professionally in interactions and communications.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in office tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management software.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities.
High level of professionalism and discretion.
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Strong attention to detail and a knack for anticipating needs.
Location: Preferred candidates should be based in Uganda or willing to relocate.
