Job Description
EverFlow seeks an EverFlow Community Officer to lead the community operations, maintenance, and strategic growth of a preventative maintenance and repair social enterprise for rural water infrastructure. This person will take ownership of the enterprise to drive EverFlow from its current start-up state into its future state where it is a solution for all stakeholders in the water access ecosystem in Kwania District.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Marketing and sales (increase rates of on-time payment of subscriptions fees, increase new community enrollments)
- Design and implement new incentives for customers and service providers
- Operational excellence (maintain % uptime, % On time Repair),
- Re-establishment and training of the water and sanitation committees (WUC) in line with the new O&M framework.
- Working with hand pump mechanics and other contractors for repairs/rehabilitations,
- Establish and grow customer feedback loops.
- Ensure water quality testing and surveillance conducted for all the new customers.
- Business processes (reporting compliance, data management/software, physical)
- Leveraging technology, partnerships, and data to re-define the supply and demand sides of the business
- Manage data relating to operational targets.
- Community Mobilize and participate in the monthly/quarterly stakeholders engagement meetings.
- Able to support in formulating business plans
