The Uganda Episcopal Conference (UEC) is the legal body of Catholic Bishops of Uganda. It is seeking for an Estates Officer to ensure professional management of the property at Plot 2316, Block 15, Hanlon Road Nsambya, Makindye Division, Kampala, Uganda and to contribute to overall objectives of the Conference. The successful candidate will closely work with a Property Management Company and the Landlord.

Marketing
Keep databases of all potential tenants and other clients that come to the premises.
Inform agents/brokers about vacant spaces at the premises.
Market vacant apartments on the internet social media and through other creative means.
Estate Office Management
Supervision of service providers, including garbage collectors, cleaners, security personnel and others repairs and maintenance teams.
Dissemination of information from the property manager /owners of the building to tenants and vice versa.
Receiving complaints and feedback from tenants and reporting them to the immediate supervisor
Monitoring that the property is in good condition.
Receiving invoices and quotations from current and potential service providers and forwarding them for processing/approval.
Guiding tenants to follow the tenancy agreement, so as to ensure smooth running of the property's affairs.
Monitoring that all common area amenities are functional, eg. security lights, staircase lights, water, parking etc.
Carrying out pre- and post-property condition assessments
Attending meetings and recording minutes.

This position requires a person who is a self-starter, who can accomplish the tasks with little or no supervision.
He/She must be a person of integrity with a good work ethos, possessing sincerity and firmness.
He/She must possess good leadership skills, and knowledge and skills in real estate management.
He/She must also show team spirit, understanding of the needs of the organization and keeping this in the forefront of his mind in the conduct of his work and in all relationships with staff.
He/She should be a degree holder in Real Estate Management, Business or a related field.
