Job Description
The Estates Officer II will be responsible for coordinating property management functions such as allocation of accommodation, building maintenance, valuation, construction works supervision, and preparation of reports and bills of quantities. The officer will also liaise with the Department of Public Works on tendering processes, conduct environmental impact assessments, and ensure efficient planning, utilization, and maintenance of University estates and infrastructure.

How to Apply
Coordinate allocation of staff accommodation.
Oversee maintenance of buildings, stations, and equipment.
Advise on budgeting, valuation, and estate planning.
Conduct environmental impact assessments for projects.
Interpret architectural drawings and prepare small-scale drawings and Bills of Quantities.
Liaise with Public Works on civil, mechanical, and electrical works tendering.
Plan and administer construction and maintenance of institutional property.
Supervise the maintenance workshop.
Prepare annual reports on estate management and maintenance.
Supervise and manage staff under the estates department.
Bachelor’s degree in Land Economics, Estates Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
At least seven (7) years of continuous relevant work experience, with three (3) years at the level of Estate Officer III or equivalent grade.
Proven integrity, honesty, independence, and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in budgeting, valuation, property maintenance, and construction management.
Skills in communication, financial management, interpersonal relations, leadership, project management, teamwork, and computer proficiency.
