Job Description
Unity Homes is seeking a dedicated Estate Maintenance Technician to join their team in Eldoret. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing routine and emergency repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, to ensure the estate's facilities remain in excellent condition.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and emergency maintenance repairs.
- Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct electrical installation, repair, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Undertake carpentry and general building maintenance work.
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and complaints.
- Inspect estate facilities and identify maintenance needs.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment and facility breakdowns.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
- Report major maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the overall upkeep and appearance of the estate.
