Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide sales and service to Business Banking customers
- Open Enterprise banking accounts following the Bank's recruitment policies and procedures
- Participate in specific product campaigns, agreeing, meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Grow portfolio profitability by identifying new and existing customer sales opportunities
- Originate and initiate client credit applications in line with Absa Africa SME lending guidelines
- Conduct customer meetings with well-defined call objectives and desired outcomes
- Build effective relationships with branch staff to drive customer referrals
- Complete account opening documentation and submit for review and processing
- Own customer queries and complaints around account opening, loans and card applications, resolving them in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and KYC compliance of all account applications, loan documents, and mandate changes
- Support the Branch Manager with cash custodian duties and till operations as required
