Job Description
The Software Engineer will be responsible for coding, debugging, and correcting programs in line with business and functional requirements. The role includes producing technical specifications, ensuring compliance with software quality assurance standards, and providing support and maintenance of existing systems. The engineer will work within agile and cloud-based environments, leveraging API engineering, automation, and modern software tools. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, experience in SQL, and familiarity with Power Apps or Power Automate.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design, code, test, and debug software applications within continuous delivery environments.
Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.
Develop programming code to meet technical and business needs.
Produce and maintain software specifications in line with quality assurance standards.
Provide support and maintenance for existing systems.
Apply agile methodologies, API engineering, automation, and cloud computing practices.
Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality delivery and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
First Degree in Information Studies or Information Technology.
Azure Fundamentals Certification (AZ-900) required.
5–7 years’ experience translating business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
Minimum 5 years proven experience as a SQL Software Engineer.
Experience with Power Apps or Power Automate is an advantage.
Behavioural Competencies: Practical approach, attention to detail, information analysis, output delivery, teamwork.
Technical Competencies: Agile Engineering, API Engineering, Automation, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering Methods, Software Engineering Tools.
