Job Title: Electrical Supervisor – Overhead

Supervises: Foremen and Electricians
Overall Purpose of the Job
The Electrical Supervisor – Overhead is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead electrical lines. This role involves coordinating field operations, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a team of foremen and electricians to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.

How to Apply
Supervise the installation and maintenance of overhead power lines and associated equipment up to 33KV.
Lead and mentor a team of foremen, electricians, and helpers to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry safety standards.
Plan and schedule work activities, including preventive maintenance, and allocate resources efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and safety inspections.
Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
Provide training and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Electrical Superintendent or Management.
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Experience, Skills, and Competencies
Proven supervisory experience in managing overhead power line operations.
Possession of a valid Class B ERA permit.
In-depth knowledge of electrical safety protocols, standards, and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
