Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Reports to: Electrical Unit lead
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Determine and schedule the necessary actions of corrective and preventive Electrical maintenance in coordination with Mechanical and Preventive Maintenance Supervisors to assure proper functioning of Electrical equipment’s and installations.
Ensure Electrical maintenance team’s full time readiness to efficiently tackle emergencies or urgent breakdowns.
Prepare weekly work orders according to preventive maintenance plans or scheduled corrective maintenance actions.
Coordinate and supervise execution of work order activities, failure data gathering
(cause, symptom…), time confirmation (external and internal), material withdrawal.
Ensure execution of maintenance activities by third parties and cooperate with shift leads in the execution of complex maintenance actions.
Support the Maintenance Manager in the elaboration and control of the maintenance budget, ensuring planning and follow-up of costs. Implement effective and systematic solutions to achieve budget and to meet or exceed targets.
Communicate and implement regulations, company goals, local permits, policies and procedures; optimize the internal processes and structures. Supervise personnel to apply them consistently and ensure ISO compliance for related activities.
Respect MAC standard; follow up weekly MAC targets (KPIs)
Monitor performance of Electrical maintenance personnel (internal and external).
Develop, inform and motivate your team, ensuring competencies and skills development according to technical innovations, plant or personal needs.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment policies for Electrical maintenance personnel and contribute to plant housekeeping.
Contribute to NWC optimization by identifying critical parts of Electrical equipment (based on risk assessment), proposing optimal stock levels of spare parts (through FMEA) and identifying remaining lifetime of critical Electrical equipment. Define measures to extend lifetimes and set-up replacement planning in line with cost target and PMP. Support the Production Manager for efficient energy consumption.
Provide technical requirements and support supplier qualification and evaluation for Electrical maintenance services contracting.
Ensure new techniques and/or technologies to optimize Electrical maintenance cost and improve the technical condition and functioning of the installed equipments.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education with 3-5 years experience dealing with production or maintenance.
Experience in heavy industry experience preferred
Experience applying FMEA techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools
Should have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities.
Should be result oriented, self-driven with a high sense of quality and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Should have computer proficiency in; Microsoft Office, SAP (PM, MM, PS), TIS
Should have knowledge of cement production process
Knowledge of MAC (Maintenance Cement), HAC, PMA preferred
Strong knowledge of basic maintenance tasks preferred.
