Job Description
The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials as scheduled, maintaining a clean driving record, and complying with South African road safety laws. This role includes maintaining a daily logbook, submitting fuel records, and ensuring the company vehicle remains roadworthy at all times. The Driver must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, punctuality, and organization, and will be required to wear full uniform during all work hours.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Carry out daily deliveries and pickups according to schedule
Ensure all goods are collected and delivered as required and reports are submitted
Drive in compliance with South African Road Safety Act and client site rules
Ensure the assigned vehicle is roadworthy before each trip
Record mileage for every trip in a logbook
Submit monthly fuel/petrol slips to management
Maintain a clean and professional appearance in full uniform at all times

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12)
Valid driver’s license
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a professional driver
Skills and Competencies:
Good planning and organizational skills
Effective time management
Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
Professional and reliable
Sound knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
