Job Description
The Law Development Centre (LDC) invites applications from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacant positions in its Staff Establishment, tenable at any of its campuses:

To drive LDC vehicle safely and chauffer LDC staff and official visitors to official destinations.
To regularly clean the inside and outside of the vehicle
To assist in transporting of official goods.
To carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs and care of the vehicle.
To run official errands and assist with other office activities
To keep accurate and up to date records using the vehicle and fuel log sheets.
To monitor and report the need for servicing the vehicle and renewal of insurance.
To compile the log book correctly.
To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Estates Officer.

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least four passes one of which must be in English.
Possession of a valid driving license (class CM, CH,DM,DL or DH)
Certificate in motor vehicle repair is an added advantage
Certificate in Defensive Driving is an added advantage.
At least five years’ experience as a driver in a public organization, NGO or reputable private organization.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Good communication skills.
Must be computer literate.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Time management.
Must be physically fit
