Job Description

The Driver will be responsible for:

  • Safely transporting project staff and goods to and from designated locations.

  • Performing basic maintenance of project vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.

  • Preparing travel authorizations, fuel requests, service requests, and repair documentation.

  • Keeping stock of spare parts and monitoring fuel usage.

  • Assisting in project activities and procurement as needed.

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicles.

  • Adhering to traffic regulations and safety guidelines.

  • Reporting any vehicle defects or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Ordinary Level education with a good command of the English language.

  • Valid driving license with classes B and DL.

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use standard computing packages.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certificate in defensive driving and a course in mechanics.

  • Experience working with non-governmental organizations.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
