Job Description
To provide independent assurance and advisory services that will strengthen governance and improve effectiveness of risk management and internal controls.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an annual risk-based internal audit plan aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Prepare and follow up on the implementation of internal audit reports findings and actionable recommendations.
- Reviews the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information and the means used to identify, measure, and report such information.
- Coordinates with external auditors and other oversight bodies to enhance audit coverage and accountability.
- Builds audit capacity through training, supervision, and development of internal audit staff.
