Job Description

The Director Human Resources will report to the University Secretary and will be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Human Resource Planning for the University

  • Accountability and management of Human Resources

  • Management of Human Resource Records

  • Management of Staff Meetings

  • Coordination and Implementation of Human Resource Policies & Procedures

  • Management of the Payroll

  • Coordination of Staff Welfare Activities

  • Coordination of Development and Review of Human Resource Policies and Procedures

  • Coordination and Management of Staff Development Programmes

  • Undertaking any other relevant activity as assigned by the University Secretary.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.

  • Registration with a professional body regulating the human resources profession in Uganda.

  • Professional certification in human resource management is an added advantage.

  • Financial knowledge and skills

Working Experience:
