Job Description
The Director Human Resources will report to the University Secretary and will be responsible for the following key duties:
Human Resource Planning for the University
Accountability and management of Human Resources
Management of Human Resource Records
Management of Staff Meetings
Coordination and Implementation of Human Resource Policies & Procedures
Management of the Payroll
Coordination of Staff Welfare Activities
Coordination of Development and Review of Human Resource Policies and Procedures
Coordination and Management of Staff Development Programmes
Undertaking any other relevant activity as assigned by the University Secretary.

How to Apply
Oversee the planning and execution of human resource functions.
Ensure accountability and efficiency in human resource management.
Maintain and update human resource records.
Organize and facilitate staff meetings.
Implement and enforce human resource policies and procedures.
Oversee payroll management.
Manage staff welfare programs.
Develop and review human resource policies.
Coordinate staff training and development programs.
Handle any other responsibilities as assigned.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Registration with a professional body regulating the human resources profession in Uganda.
Professional certification in human resource management is an added advantage.

Working Experience:
Minimum of five years in a senior management position in a large or reputable organization/institution.
