Job Description
The Direct Sales Agent will execute door-to-door, in-store, and field activation activities to grow market share across assigned territories. The role focuses on meeting daily/weekly sales targets, maintaining accurate inventory movements (including consignment stock), managing and accounting for daily cash float, and supporting customer experience initiatives. The DSA will also provide basic technical support—especially configuring data devices—and uphold brand visibility and merchandising standards at points of sale.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Generate sales for airtime, acquisitions/SIM activations, and devices in line with targets.
Monitor Telkom inventory and consignment stock; reconcile daily physical counts with system records.
Manage daily cash float; accurately account for and report daily sales.
Support and implement customer experience improvement strategies to increase conversions.
Provide technical support to customers, especially data device configuration.
Comply with finance controls, processes, and policies governing retail operations.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
At least 1 year of sales experience (telecom/FMCG preferred).
