Job Description
The Dentist will carry out patient examinations using appropriate diagnostic tools and recommend suitable treatment plans. The role includes performing dental procedures such as restorations, surgeries, and other interventions to restore and maintain dental health. The dentist will provide oral health education, preventive care advice, and follow-up assessments for ongoing patients. Additionally, the role involves ensuring proper use of dental equipment and materials, advising on procurement specifications, documenting clinical processes, and attending to emergency dental cases. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing patient experiences while upholding high professional and ethical standards.

How to Apply
Conduct dental examinations using diagnostic tools to evaluate patient conditions and recommend treatment plans.
Perform dental procedures including surgical, restorative, and preventive interventions.
Monitor progress of continuing patients through regular reviews.
Advise patients on preventive dental care, oral hygiene, and treatment of dental issues.
Provide technical advice on the design and procurement of dental equipment.
Ensure proper use, care, and functionality of dental instruments and equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records for reference and decision-making.
Book and manage patients, including attending to dental emergencies.
Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Surgery from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in dental practice.
Membership: Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) and hold a valid practicing license.
Key Competencies:
Ability to diagnose and manage dental conditions.
Proficiency in conducting various dental procedures.
Skilled in the use of dental instruments and diagnostic equipment.
Strong time management and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
