About the Role
MOGO Uganda is looking for proactive and detail-oriented Debt Collection Agents (Skip Trace) to join our Customer Experience – Vehicles Department. The ideal candidates will support the recovery team by identifying and tracking hard-to-reach clients, analyzing tracking reports, and assisting with investigations to recover outstanding accounts.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Allocate offline account assignments by zone and compile reports for the respective field team leaders.
Generate leads and identify new contact points for unreachable customers using skip tracing tools.
Analyze GPS tracking reports daily and identify customer hotspots.
Investigate and help resolve backlog cases, including stolen vehicles, in coordination with security, legal, and law enforcement teams.
Compile detailed customer location reports, narrowing down to 4–5 likely contact locations.
Review unsuccessful field visit reports and provide additional actionable information to aid recovery efforts.
Liaise with the security department to gather extra customer data, particularly for unreachable clients.
Support in handling special investigations or any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
1–3 years of experience in debt collection, skip tracing, or related field (required).
Experience in third-party collections or recovery of charged-off accounts is an added advantage.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Criminology, or related disciplines).
Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Proficiency in using tracking systems and tracing tools.
