Job Description
We are currently seeking a Data Analyst for one of our clients, with a primary focus on Uganda and Kenya. While the position is based in Uganda, we are open to considering candidates from Kenya. The ideal candidate should possess excellent Excel skills and have a background in the fast- moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. The role will involve conducting comprehensive analytics across the business, supporting decision-making processes related to procurement, product management, and shipments. Duties and Responsibilities
The Data Analyst job at Precision Recruitment International is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about data and analytics. The main duties of the Data Analyst are:
Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from various sources using SQL, Python, or other tools.
Performing exploratory data analysis and generating insights using descriptive and inferential statistics, data visualization, and machine learning techniques.
Creating dashboards and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders using Power BI, Tableau, or other tools.
Collaborating with other analysts, engineers, and business partners to understand business requirements, define data problems, and provide data-driven solutions.

Qualifications and Competencies
The qualifications for the Data Analyst job are:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or business intelligence.
Proficient in SQL and Python or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
Familiar with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or others.
Knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms for data analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
