Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the Data Analyst will collate, process, and analyze commercial and operational data to improve decision-making, enhance monitoring, evaluation, and learning, and support product and market development. The role involves generating reports for internal and external stakeholders, monitoring sales cycle trends, flagging anomalies, and supporting strategy implementation through data-driven insights. The Analyst will also ensure timely processing of sales commissions, analyze customer issues, support field teams in resolving system/user challenges, and contribute to market intelligence reports. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency with data analysis tools.

How to Apply
Collate and analyze data to generate regular and ad hoc reports.
Provide insights to guide field activities and improve monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes.
Work with the finance team to ensure timely collation and processing of sales commissions.
Monitor sales cycle trends and highlight anomalies such as low lead generation or weak conversion.
Collaborate with field teams to analyze and resolve customer and farmer issues.
Track issues raised through customer experience and credit teams and ensure resolution within agreed SLAs.
Develop and present reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Support product development strategies and execution of enhancements.
Compile and interpret quantitative data for market intelligence analysis.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, IT, or related field from a recognized institution (Postgraduate Diploma or MBA is an added advantage).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as a Data Analyst.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of business process re-engineering and project management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies.
Ability to interpret and present quantitative data effectively.
Fluency in English (French is an added advantage).
