Job Description
The Data Analyst will play a key role in turning raw data into meaningful information that supports the company’s decision-making process. This includes collecting and cleaning data from multiple sources, creating dashboards and reports, performing statistical analyses, and identifying trends and patterns. The ideal candidate should be familiar with SQL, data visualization tools, and statistical programming languages, and must possess a strong analytical mindset. The analyst will work closely with internal departments to understand data requirements and deliver accurate, timely, and actionable reports.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple data sources
Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
Develop predictive models and assist with forecasting activities
Perform data quality assurance checks and ensure data integrity
Translate data findings into actionable insights for business improvement
Collaborate with various departments to understand data needs and deliver solutions
Communicate findings through clear reports and presentations to stakeholders
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a related analytical role
Proficient in SQL, Excel, and one or more data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Familiarity with R or Python for statistical programming is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred: experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
