The position is a full-time, in-country-based office reporting to the Managing Director. The core responsibilities include:
Make Tally entries for raw cocoa operations and chocolate manufacturing operations
Receive, review and confirm source documents for inventory movements
Review stock counts, confirm and reconcile inventories for cocoa and chocolate
Supervise Accounts Assistants and cashiers responsible for sourcing operations with a specific focus on:
MM / Petty cash reporting and budgets
Verification of accountability for expenses
Submission and confirmation of inventory reports
Balancing of buyers and pre-finance for sourcing
Verification of stocks and dispatches
Track and report monthly on average costs per inventory item
Track, report on, and work to minimize losses in production and stores departments.
Carry out audits and site visits to confirm inventory and accountability.

Fluent English
5-8 years of experience in accounts department for a Ugandan-registered company or entity
Prior experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing or coffee trading entity (required)
Degree in relevant Account or Finance field, progress completed towards CPA or ACCA
Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Tally ERP
Positive attitude, attention to detail and strong English communication skills
