Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

PAAHFO Foundation Limited is a Non-Government Uganda Charity Organization which started in 2018 as a Community Outreach, and in 2021 it was registered as a Community Based Organization(CBO) with 3 suffering orphan children from remote families. Later the charity foundation was legalized and transformed into a national center (NGO) in 2023. And PAAHFO Stands for; Patrick And Hellen Foundation.

Over the past years, the number of orphans and vulnerable children living in Uganda has been escalating at an alarming rate. In 2020, the number of orphans was estimated to be 800; in 2021 that number had grown to nearly 1000. Over five hundred of those children have lost their parents.

  • Conduct regular visits to the assigned communities and establish rapport with the community leaders and members.

  • Identify the needs, priorities, opportunities and challenges of the communities and communicate them to the project managers and coordinators.

  • Organize and conduct community meetings, workshops, trainings and other events to raise awareness, mobilize resources, build capacities and foster collaboration among the community stakeholders.

  • Monitor and document the progress, outcomes and impacts of the community-based interventions and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.

  • Liaise and coordinate with other relevant actors such as government agencies, NGOs, donors, media and private sector to enhance the visibility, sustainability and scalability of the community initiatives.

  • Adhere to the values, principles and policies of Paahfoh and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
