Job Description
Job Title: Cold Drink Equipment Clerk (Fresher Jobs)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Team Leader Vtrack & CDE Replacement
The Cold Drink Equipment Clerk provides administrative and logistical support to the cold drink equipment service team. This role ensures efficient scheduling, accurate record-keeping, and smooth coordination between technicians, customers, and inventory management to maintain and repair beverage dispensing equipment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare, organize, and maintain work orders, service records, and equipment logs.
Create, organize, and update service work orders, schedules, and equipment maintenance records.
Process incoming service requests and prioritize based on urgency and resources.
Track warranty information and assist in filing claims for defective equipment.
Ensure accurate data entry into service management systems.
Maintain documentation for equipment warranties and service contracts
Track and manage inventory levels of equipment parts and supplies.
Communicate work orders, service details, and customer requirements to technicians.
Review and process completed service reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Monitor adherence to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Prepare periodic reports on service performance, costs, and inventory levels.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum requirement:
Diploma in refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent; additional training or certification in logistics, administration, or technical fields is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in administrative or customer service roles, ideally in a technical or equipment service environment
Skills/ Competencies /Attributes
Ability to adhere to work assignments and meet designated deadlines.
Demonstrates behaviour of professional and personal ethics transparency and openness to encourage respect and similar behaviour from colleagues in the workplace.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, inventory management systems).
Basic knowledge of cold drink equipment or willingness to learn technical concepts
Analytical ability and problem solving
High customer orientation
Effective conflict management ability
