About the Role
As a Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for efficiently and fairly resolving insurance claims while upholding the company’s brand values and maintaining exceptional customer service across the organization.

How to Apply
Register, process, and manage all incoming insurance claims.
Investigate claims to determine coverage, liability, and appropriate reserving.
Collaborate with internal teams (including legal) and escalate cases as needed.
Maintain accurate records of processed, paid, and outstanding claims.
Provide weekly and monthly claims reports for management review.
Notify the Reinsurance Officer regarding recoveries and ensure documentation is complete.
Follow up on outstanding claims, required documentation, and discharge vouchers.
Coordinate client meetings to review and improve service delivery.
Support other duties as assigned in line with your position.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., ANZIF, ACII, DIP CII, AIA DIP-ITC) are an added advantage.
Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in underwriting and claims.
In-depth understanding of life assurance operations.
Proven ability to manage claims methodically and independently.
Strong legal awareness and willingness to stay updated on relevant case law.
Skills & Competencies
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Solid computer literacy.
Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks.
Ability to handle diverse insurance claims with defined risk potential.
Familiarity with fraud prevention and financial crime investigation protocols.
Additional Responsibilities
Evaluate and process insurance claims per company procedures and standards.
Conduct claimant interviews and assess insured losses.
Identify and investigate potential fraud.
Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Prepare documentation and reports using standard tools and systems.
Continuously build knowledge and skills through ongoing development and training.
